Our first choice will always be the camp ground by the river and given that we are running the event in late spring the weather should be kinder to us and the ground shouldn't be quite so boggy. Also the grass will have had time to grow and bed in by then.

Could have even been better in the paddock above ss8 - lucky the swag doesn't have a "fold over in heavy wind" option like everyone who had tents did!! chilly was an understatement.

We have received all the sponsors confirmations and we can now confirm a total prize pool of in excess of $12,500 ($2,500 in CASH, another $1,500 in vouchers and the rest in prizes). All of these goodies will be given away to competitors with prizes for 1st place in each SS as well as overall place prizes from 1st to 10th outright.

Entries are still open but will close on the 1st September so if you are still thinking about it get a move on or you'll miss out.
