You and Dave competing
What in "who's 4 Runner can sustain the most damage COMP!!"
No, it more of a "whos 4runner will hold together, not lose a tyre, drop a sump plug and bend a tail shaft comp "
Oh but im sure i will see your truck at the next night run
NICK
Mate i havn't seen anything on those night runs that BUBS or SCOTT couldn't DRIVE, so why would i even bother!!!
What makes you think your 4-Runner will hold together at XRCC when you can't even get thru a "medium to Hard" night run!
P.S You do realise that once as the COMP starts you can't CRY LIKE A LITTLE GIRL and get RUFF TO DRIVE FOR YOU AGAIN!!!!!
ROTFLMAO
The reason i let Ruff drive is the fact that he spent all day getting my truck running properly, went out of his was to help me and then didnt want anything for it, i thought the least i could do was let him drive it after he spent all day working on it, let him enjoy it alittle, is that wrong?
As for scott and bubs driving all the night runs, yes they drive it, but they do not drive all of it and i dont believe they ever have. The night runs are more of a social event and meeting new people etc, it takes away that competitive edge of 4x4ing.
As for my 4runner holding together, how did yours go at XRCC round 0 and come to think of it round one aswell
Beleieve it or not POS i will "hopefully"be there competeing. (providing it is the mod class and not outlaw )
Hey i think i did alright at ROUND 0.(I BEAT EVERYONE IN THE FIRST STAGE)
Round 1, yes i had some problems and it didn't really worry me as i don't think the COMPS at the moment are as big a deal as some make out also how many times BESIDES COMPETITION have i been out and wheeled the TITS of it and never had a problem! (luck of the draw, i suppose)
I know well and good i can not and never will be a threat to winning or even placing at XRCC or similar, i go there for FUN, its something different, my rig is capable but i don't have the money to always upgrade to newer and stronger stuff all the time.
Things get fatigued dew to the amount of use, it would be very expensive if i went thru and replaced everything before each COMP!
You will find that the more you drive bigger and harder stuff, SH!T will break!
It really annoys the PISS out of me when people hang sh!t about breaking stuff, can you name one person who drives the same sort of places as we do and never breaks anything (besides Sam, and even after a while that will become FATIGUED and bust like anything else, no pun intended Sam)!
No i won't take the Disco, i have my play RIG and i made the choice to modify it knowing well and good that i would not be able to take it on a night run!
Yes night runs are more of a social thing but why are COMPS any different!
I think it will be great to have you compete at XRCC, my initial comment was that you will sustain some body damage, not that it won't be competitive or that it will fall apart.
