MQ/MK Diff Q's

Post by coxy321 »

Just wondering wether the axle splines are the same through the 2-3 types of different ratio rear diffs, and if the centres are a direct change over. Also whether the front diffs have the same axle spline count, and if the centres are a direct changeover.

Cheers - Coxy

diffs

The axle spline count is the same in the 4.1--- 4.3--- and 4.625 ratios all interchangeable with themselves front and rear. (though front wont go into rear and vise versa) The axle spline count in the rear is 31 but there is bigger axles (37 Spline) In some cab chassis and a very few wagons (mostly barn door ones).
Hope this helps

Its a pissa how Nissan didnt put a larger front diff in them.... wasnt a smart move, far more ppl would mod them if they had....

But yeh as peter said ALL rear centres and axles are interchangeable at long at they are the same physical size, the larger centre from some of the utes ( H260 ) obbiously isnt...

all fronts are interchangeable with all fronts centres and axles...
