Ok guys have been thrown another option and am not sure on ist success with a 60 series. The superior twisty drop shackles:

Are these any good, does anyone use them? I haven't seen them on anything so am reluctant to take a chance

60- 75 series Landcruisers bolt on the front and rear with no modifications

They look the shite, but I can see one problem, ONLY $499 a pair . I spose you get what you pay for tho, they DO LOOK THE SHITE! Do you get any lift? If so I may be interested as well... one day...

If the shackles are to be used on a road then there are locking pins that are quickly fitted to keep the shackle in the closed position, then there is no difference in cornering at high speed.

Here's a pic of my brothers Hilux, it has longer springs (about 300mm), johnny joint's in the front eyes to allow it to twist more, layed over shocks as you can see and a track bar. It works great offroad (no good for hill climbs though), onroad it's not too bad, but he try's to avoid that.

I didn't say it was shit. It gets a bit of wheel tramp and you just have to stop, then start again. Maybe from the longer rear leaves, i'm not sure. It's only steep loose dirt type hills, but the shackles may not have anything to do with this.
