I have been told by a friend he can get me some 37" tall MTRs, to fit on 15" rim locally for $400 a tyre, can you beat that? because streeting smaller tyres looks really funky, in the pics it has 42x15 TSL super swampers.
Thanks srumler!
P.S. what happened to my post before in this thread? how did it get deleted? why am i being gagged?

Rob - dont you remember why??? I spoke to you on the phone and answered exactly what you are asking here. Do I have to tell you again!!! What you posted was total crap and doesent belong in 4x4 tech. It gets the thread off topic and generally stuffs up a good thread and you are doing it again and you are doing it on purpose!!
And spazbot your post was the same so I deleted it too, it didnt belong here.
I WAS THE PERSON WHO TOOK THE TIME TO ASK GOODYEAR SENIOR MANAGEMENT TO RESPOND SO WE ALL GET THE INFO FROM THE HORSES MOUTH, I HAD TOLD HIM OF THIS FORUM AND INVITED HIM VIEW AND REGISTAR, I FEEL A LITTLE ASSAMED AFTER TELLING HIM HOW GOOD THIS IS. WE HAVE POOR TASTE MESSAGES POSTED. DOESN'T HELP OUR SPORT WHEN WE NEED CORPORATE RECOGNITION.

First of all what area do you live in so I can ring the nearest dealer about a price, that is a good price on the 37'' but make sure they do have stock because at this stage there is not many around. P.S. what happened to my post before in this thread? how did it get deleted? why am i being gagged?

YES tyre stores will still have some in stock but once there gone they will find it hard to order some more.Until we find out what America is doing.
So the four hundred million dudes who run 285's on their shopping trolleys with BFG's on now will have to stick to errrr BFG's good one Good Year. I would know about 5 guys in my club who would change to em after their current set wore out. I am sure that is the buzz in most of the Clubs around OZ them and Cooper ST's in the same size.
Okay it is not 400 million but even if it was a hundred clubs and five in each were thinking it thats 2000 tyres is this enough for a run in the puny land of Australia....
I don't really care about this but its an observation that some times things suck....

Srumler i will be different and not bajjer you for freebie's however, I would like to now if you can get some INFO on the new 40 inch mtr just released in the states.
I understand they will take some time to hit the aussie market but i dare say they would be quite a hit when they get here.
Has Glen invited you up to XRCC at landcruiser Park on the 29th.
The 40 inch mtr would probarbly suit our Rockcrawling Sport.

I will look into the 40 inch, but it did take us a while to convince our headoffice ti bring the 37'' and yes Glen did invite me to the Rockclimbing which Goodyear are looking to sponser the day and plenty more in the future.Because you mad drivers know what your talking about when it comes to 4wd's.
I called about 20 tyre places when i got my 31 MTR's for my TJ. Prices ranged from $205 - $270. I ended up getting a set of 4 fitted and balanced from Payless Tyres in Chatswood (on Pacific Hwy opposite Jeep) for $205 each.
