Nice but I'd be worried about the forward facing antenna/light mounts on the top bar
Weekdays - Prado GXL D4D with some stuff
Weekends - Mav shorty with lots of stuff

Agree - crying out for a nice fine in NSW at least.

Also giving ammunition to those who want to ban bull bars and 4wd's.

Better get it fixed soon - the do's and dont's are readily available.

x3 Wouldn't last long on QLD roads without a fine. Get it fixed.

Just bend a piece of light gauge tube abound it and it is no longer a protrusion.

Great looking bar though. How did you support the top section to stop the winch mount (being a high as it is in relation to the chassis) from acting as a lever pulling down and forward on your chassis?

Just spoke to my mate who built it...the top brackets are coming off and a nut will be welded into the top of the tube. therefor eliminating the protrusion factor and (in my opinion) making the bar look even better!

The placement of the spotlights are also a grey area - in the regs, nothing is allowed to be placed above or forward from the profile of the bar (or to the side as well I presume). So if a they want to pick on you the coule possibly give you a ticket for the lights as well.

Off topic - aren't you from QLD? what do you fish for? I never had much luck with my fly rod in QLD - except on things that are easy to catch like carp.
