Hi guys, I've been quoted around $207 for Goodyear MTR's in a tyre size of 235/75/15 and was wondering, does anyone know a tyre place around Melbourne that does them cheaper ?
I've also been quoted a wheel alignment for $45 ( This is all from Beaurepaires )
Any info greatly appreciated! Saving $$$ = money for other mods

If you want to/can go a bit bigger, you can get Simex Centipede M/T with a similar tread pattern in 31 X 10.5 R 15 LT (measuring an actual 30.5") for around the $160 mark.

Seriously though make sure they do them up so you can un do them with a breaker bar otherwise you will be stuffed. This has happened to a lot of us where they just to the tyres up FT (very tight)

If you are running alloys, don't even let them near with a rattle gun. The alloys are softer than the conical steel nuts and should only be torqued up to the most pressure you can put on your wheelbrace by hand - that is why the braces are so short, (typically 80-90 Nm). Any more force and the alloy can get radial cracks under the conical nut from the torque spreading the alloy, a bit like a logsplitter does to logs.
Early clue to this problem are nuts that go missing (falling off) and self-loosen. The problem accelerates each time you tighten the nuts up and the cracks widen. No need to tell you what happens next..........

I am currently looking around for some BFG All Terrains 225/75/16 and so far seem to be the cheapest although TirePower is not far behaind and I am sure they will match the price.
Well hopefully they will match the price as they are nice and close to where i live,haha.
