just a quick one looking at the front of a tb42 directly above aircon commpressor there is something there hooked up to the fan belt it has a cap on it

and i am not quite sure on what it is

would it be my power steering pump

Sounds like the power steering pump to me.

It is not actually hooked up to the fan belt; it has its own belt. The alternator and fan share a belt though.
