who knows about chain drive transfers??

can anyone tell me if the chain drive from a g52 is the same as the chain drive on a r151f??

G52 has 26 spline input
R151 has 23 spline input
in principle both transfer cases are the same
The input can be changed so the transfer cases can swap

Thought the g52 chain might be same as g58....Hmmmm to bad i busted the input on me r151 when i shoved the front shaft out the back of the transfer..

I have chain drive transfer for sale from a R151 but have swapped the input with a G52 transfer to avoid change to a manual shifting transfer. so it is an R151 transfer with G52 input. Guess that makes it a G52 transfer.
Not sure if its any use to you.

so you can swap the chain driven transfer for the gear driven if its a g52

found a decent size hole where there shouldnt a been one and fell in....bent front axle so wheels are like / \ now..bent 90 degree angle in a 7 leaf spring pack and killed me ranchos and the above transfer problem...Hmmmm got all the other parts but gunna need a r151 transfer...shame, i got the g52 chain just sittin in the yard
