Whats with the really old info on the website? This event aint meant to be that far away right! Wonder why its not updated! Wouldnt mind some more info if anyone has it!

I was rung today and asked if I wanted to enter my hilux in it, I would if it was finished or I had the $$$ to finish it

Why worry about travelling to Vic when there is a great event on in Qld ie Extreme International. So far there is 17 entries, should be a great week.

sorry guys but the snow is going fast. so i dont think there will be any by the time the comp is run

They had like 1.5 mtrs of cover this morning

apparently they are
expecting more snow this week

Last year none of the stages were held in snow. Just some of the transit stages. You'll need a fairly capable vehicle as a spectator cause you travel on some of the same tracks as the competitors.

i live about 50k's from where they hold the race, basically we are one of the towns at the bottom of the mountains and they would be lucky to have half a metre at the moment, this week it is suppost to be fine all week, so a big melt, but up here you just don't know whats going to happen. one day you get winds up to 200km/h the next day it a nice warm 15deg (not), and the next who knows.

it has snowed here on new years day so anything can happen, but i don't think it will sorry

just in referance to the access it is all pretty easy going, it can be a bit slippery but a stock 4runner would do it easy

all round the mtns there are thousands of trees down everywhere... that could add some interest...

Last year we went up on the Saturday only and made it in in only a stock jackaroo easy with road slicks.

Yeah i heard there was a bit of snow forcasted for this weekend! Shame i cant make it up!
