will 15" rims with 2" offset from standard hilux fit and clear on early Prado rear?

not sure if it helps, but 15's from the old man's surf fit the rear of a 02 prado (old shape, not pointy lights, 90 series), no worries however even the cruiser's 16" splits diddnt fit over the front calipers, best option i found was off the 80 series landcruiser, those metal rims with the oval holes, they fit over the calipers, with only a tiny bit of caliper grinding, nothing major only 2-3mm, hope this helps

If your talking about the Aussie sold 95 series prados (1996-2002), then the
answer is no. The brake disks and calipers are too large, and need the 16" rim.

yeah, but not all 16"'s fit either, the offset on the rim if the makor issue here, most 16's ive tried still hit the caliper, as i said the classic 16" landcruiser split-rim doesnt fit over the calipers either, but theres no problem putting 15s over the rear im my experiance, althogh theres not much clearance, it works nevertheless

what part of the rim do they hit,the rims ive got are 2" offset
