Well the Mitsu Crawlers are in. I'll give a quick post with first impressions now - but we've photo'd and will hopefully be able to provide some sort of tech guide for it.
First thanks to Frank, HG, Leehamescort & Dutch Mafia for giving up their weekend to get them in.
Once installed we took the car for a drive around some of the local hills, was fantastic crawling up in 1st gear at about 1000 rpm, effortless. Biggest difference was the downhill. It really locks up and slows you right down, to very controllable speeds.
So, yep, highly recommended. Or as Frank said "I told ya so".

I am looking forward to any instructions you can come up with. I will be installing mine myself I think. I also just dropped my front arb off to be installed. It is going to be a whole new truck!!!

Daryus, I'm glad everything worked out, it was just some stubborn bolts and stupid little things that ate up the time.
I'm amazed you guys put up with my "carnivore farts" and actually enjoyed them without banning me from the garage
At least everything seems to work ok and your happy with the outcome and thats the main thing.
Let me know how you go on your first trip as I probly will be grounded for a while with the misses ready to drop.

Yep the Paj is a crawler now But I have to fumigate the garage cos it stinks of rotting meat ...
The worst part of the install was getting the friggin snap ring in between the high & low gears when it was about 90% assembled , patience is needed hear and it was at this stage the carnivore appeared .
Can't wait for the weekend to test it out.

Just a few mods, nothing over the top.:)
No he doesn't.
The Gen 2 install is a straight swap, no special snap ring pliers, no grinding.
The mainshaft can be installed outside of the t/case as the larger low range gear fits through the Gen 2 housing.
But I have to fumigate the garage cos it stinks of rotting meat
