Quick Question?

Reindexing is for when you run out of thread on the adjusting bolts.
As you have already raised yours reindexing is not nessacery and has no advantages.
If you lie under the vehicle for a while and contemplate the workings of the front end it should become clear what needs doing. You have run out of thread on the bolt so therefore the bar has to move in a direction to retain vehicle height but increase available bolt thread.

If you climb face first under the rear looking forward, the drivers side lever arm will travel anti clockwise as you undo the bolt. After you have removed the bolt, remove the rubber cover from the arm and clean the area beneath. You might see a paint mark indicating the std index marks. If not, make your own mark. Remove the arm and rotate it anti clockwise one spline. Reassemble and do the same to the other side but in a clockwise direction. Becarefull of the tension when the bolt is almost out of the nut, as it may rap you on the head pretty hard. Use a trolly or bottle jack to help lift the lever arm back up to get the bolt started if it's a bit tight.
Best of luck!!
