How do they go? do they handle the power or am i looking at having to do a front diff swap too?

Yes they handle it.

I have had the V8 in there ages.... and have driven on it alot....

to give you an example i shiered a rear axle last weekend and didnt do anything to the front diff.

another thing to keep in mind, is that GQ and MQ CVS and hubs are the same, with a different spline. GQs are wider but the same strength.

the only extra strength in GQ fronts is the Centre is stronger.....

but u should pop cvs before a centre.

the other thing to think about with diff swap is that 60 series diffs are the same CV size and Hilux, they just have bigger centres.....

MQ/GQ are stronger than Hilux and thus 60 series....

so if u swap diffs, the only real diffs worth swapping to are either 80 series, or even better go and put GU diffs in.

otherwise your MQ diffs will do the job.

Had a 351 in my old MQ LWB and never had a front diff problem ever. Apart from a crappy lockrite in the front but I soon took that out.
