Relax guys - I'm one of you lot and we will pick the weekend that best serves the masses.

thats great, but better get it out there soon, many people will need notice to get time off from work and get rigs ready. :microwave:

it's now mid week can we pretty please have a date from the organisers mouth... don't want to appear pushy, but i really have to start organising time off especially if i'm going to have two weekends in october. i'm sure others are in the same boat. i'm keen to travel from adelaide to support this (and to milburadale for the finals woo hoo), but would hate to miss it because i didn't let the boss know soon enough

Do you realy think if a date was set in concrete we would be holding it back? As soon as a date is set it will be announced. Sorry its not any easier than that.

guess where all impatient... and have to organise time off work... and some of us have bathurst tickets to potentially sell :D

i respect the amount of work that these guys put in, but it'd be a shame to have a fair few people not spectate because they couldn't organise the time off on time

I regret that I have to say that this round isnt going to happen this year.

Basically with this round getting pushed so close to the finals on the 19th/20th November I have had to make the decision that I wont be able to make this round happen. What it has really just come down to is that I just wont have time to go to run the round in Victoria given that I am putting such a big commitment into the WE Rock finals.

Over the past couple of weeks I was getting close to cancelling the round and I basically decided that it wasnt going to happen this last Tuesday. My plan then was to announce the date that it was going to be run early next year (Jan 28th/29th was looking good) but that isnt going to happen either (my wife and I expecting the birth of our 2nd child soon after that date).

So this means the Victorian round will be some time in March next year.........hope its worth the wait.

Probably the only upside to this is that with the new properties that Cheezy has found he looks like he (and the Vic Crawlers) will run a competition around the date that we have been talking about here. Hope he can make it happen cause by the sounds of it you guys should have enough buggies built to make a good competition.

 Bummer. But i'll still be going to whatever it is thats on. Even if its just a small gathering. Anyone that we should be speaking to to find out when it'll be on anyways??

I suppose that this will give everybody more planning time, and more time to gather the troops up for a real shindig of a comp.

Come on guys, while WEROCK and the Queenslanders may be too weak to come down for this round :finger: :finger: :D, cheesy and hobzee have put a heap of effort into this... and instead of throwing it in the bin and giving up he's gone the extra mile and is running ozrock... see link below

http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/PHP_Modul ... hp?t=51965

NOW STEP UP, if you have a capable rig, give it a go, if you don't, i want you there yelling encouragement as these guys toast some rubber. I won't hesitate to say that i'm coming, even if i have to fly in from perth.

I WANNA SEE NSW compeditors and spectators... heck even some queenslanders if they have the errrrr, goods :D come on, we mexicans gave bathurst werock our support... lets make the first OZROCK HUGE... Cheezy has drawn up huge support from the community, and is giving back to the community in the process, charities and offroading in this state will be the main benefactors... LETS GO HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See you there.

Why spend about $4000 to $5000 to compete down there and then spend another $1500 in about a month to go to the finals, we are all not made off money?
We also have to take about one and half weeks of work.

I would like to come down to help build the sport but there is plenty of guys down in sydney area building buggies, so 4 or 5 cars from here in QLD shouldn't make a differents.

So maybe next year we can run at caulder park raceway as chezzy said back in round 2 of WE ROCK as the tracks were finished

Go and grab yourself a print of HEMA Maps Victorian High Country or similar. When we go away on bush trips, the places we go up in the hills, you could honestly spend weeks and weeks on the masses of tracks. Down near the Otway Ranges (Geelong area) is a good drive too, but you will need to find out what tracks etc. the greenies have cut off.
