Fuel economy in TB42e?

Post by Kane »

I have just put in a 94 mod TB42e motor in my 88 GQ shorty Patrol and was wondering what sort of fuel economy I should be getting. I run 35's with std 4.1 ratios. Is there any thing that can help as I know that they are thursty motors and I don't really want to go gas as it is not a daily driver.
Cheers, Kane.

Auto gonna be worse.

Mine (SWB) gets 25/100 around town with carby and out of tune.

Good reason to get a 3 litre or betetr yet gas.
