h260 with drum brakes

Post by scout392 »

I have 78 scout with a 6.5 liter v8 I want to up grade the rear diff.

I have been reading about the h260’s and trying to do stuff on a budget.

I want the 37 spline version 4.1 or 3.9 ratio with the hand brake on the diff not the t/case and a locker or LSD

Also wms to wms about 58/60 inches

What are my options?

Eric

my GU has that one on the back, its a leaf sprung rear end of a ute. i also spoke to nick at gold coast 4wd wreckers the other day and re said he got a 3.0l turbo wagon with a H260 in the rear and thats coil sprung...........

so i supose you could have either, and yes my hand brake is on the diff......
