PTO on Prado KZJ71

Post by NZBJ71 »

I have just picked up a complete PTO & winch off a 60 series cruiser.

I am planing to install it on my KZJ71 but the transfer does not have a PTO output gear on the main shaft.

Is the shaft spine count and diameter the same as a 70 series and will a 70 series PTO gear fit the prado transfer box.

Thanks in advance

i dont think so the old 1 piece transfer and the split transfer on the 60-74 all take the pto i dont think you could even costomize as you rear diff is center driven and the 60-74is offset but not sure about 78 79 transfers they should as they are still bought by mines and councils
