Well I have some and they made a big difference comfort wise for me, less bouncy,

Saying that I would fit greasable shackles to the rear end first, that made a massive difference

I know some owners of Surfs say aftermarket are too stiff and often go back to standard.If you have a lot of weight on front (bullbar/winch) they may be ok but otherwise they do nothing.

A few Surf owners have changed them, with mixed results. Even with a
bar & winch, the stock bars are fine, after they are wound up a turn or two to maintain ride height. Bounciness isn't a product of your springs, shock absorbers are designed to control that. Stiffer valved shocks will help to reduce bounce........

Remember winding up torsion bars don't place them under any more tension, just raises the ride height. Think about how it works. It's the same as putting spacers under coils. Same tension, higher ride.....
