BFG muddies

Post by DJD »

G'day all

I've got a new set of 285/75 16 BFG M/T on alloy rims fitted to my toyota HZJ75 ute, I've found the ride is much harsher compared to the standard 16 inch split rims. The tyre place had them at 42 psi and I've lowered them to 38 which helped. What can I run them at without stuffing the edges ?

The edges will wear fairly quickly when they are new anyway. Maybe try dropping the pressure to 35?
