What is the difference between the FJ and BJ body, mainly concerned with the tub as the one on mine(BJ) is fawked and may have a good FJ tub lined up but not sure if the FJ tub is identical to the BJ

I put a 1982 BJ40 Hard top/ambo doors and front doors onto my 1978 FJ40.
It's a work in progress.

as far as i know mate the bodies are the same, mounting points & all.
the only things different where the fuel tank position as stated earlier & the doors where just a little bit different in style but still fit (just had to change the door catch position)
it's never a problem until it can't be fixed, even then it' only a minor set back
