new to the forum so can anyone here tell me why my temp guage goes up and down like a yo-yo never over heats but never one constant temp....

not sure, but it could be a loose temp sender wire...... or a faulty temp sender.

yeah, loose wire/bad connection. The temp guages in all my suzi's have always sit steady.
My tires were rubbing in the front, so I trimmed the hood, and now they're fine...

Hi Sako,

No thermostat caused mine to do that too. It ran too cold as well and locked out top gear in the auto.

replace the temp sender.... it is very common with all suzukis...
