33 on a hilux
I'VE JUST PUT THE 33" TYRES FROM MY OTHER 4B ON TO MY HILUX TO SEE WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE. THERES NO FOWLING IN THE FRONT AT ARTICULATING, ON THE REAR JUST A LITTLE ON THE REAR OF THE FLARE, THAT I'M OK WITH. POWER WISE I FOUND IT OK AS THE 2.8 DESIEL IS NO POWER HOUSE ANYWAY. THE QUESTIONS I HAVE IS HOW MANY OF YOU GUYS RUN 33", HOW DOES 2.8 HANDLE THEM OFF ROAD. ANY OTHER INFO ON THIS SUBJECT APRECIATED
i run 33's on my lux (see pic), it only has a 2.4L diesel and she goes fairly well off road (slowish on road but only really up hills), the 2.8 should be fine

Scrubbing
Hi guys,
I have 31"All Terrains at the moment but want to go 33" Mickey Thompsons. I have a 2" sus lift and my 31" scrub when on a lock turning up a hill. If i get 2" body lift will 33" scrub? will 31" scrub for that matter?
Sorry about the hijack

I run 33s on my IFS, and with torsion bars wound up to 100mm, no worries, only have to trim the rubber mudflaps a bit and all sweet.
had no probs out back with standard leafs, and forgot to mention i have a 50mm body lift.
tyres are 33x10.5x15 BFG Muddies.....
