Help with max power from 2LT

Post by gogo »

I need max power from my 2LT..so a few questions?

will an intercooler help? front mounted?

will a heat scoop help?

should I put a 3" exhaust?

will an electric fan help?

should I pressurise the fuel pump?

Any other mods?

What hp will I end up with?

2.5"- 3" exhaust (free flowing exhaust creates less restrictions = more hp and torque)
intercooler will help cool intake air (which will improve hp)
fitting a bleed valve to increase boost (will improve hp and torque)
i fitted a 2.75" exhaust and a bleed valve (set to 10lb boost) and it makes a fair bit more power but i would recomend you get it dynotuned and get the guys to fit the bleed valve when they dynotune it as they will adjust the fuel pump to compensate for the added boost as it will need more fuel to get the better power output

hope this helps you out
cheers Trevor
