Welded Rings on GQ CV's

I did a search on this and couldn't find much, do people think this makes a difference or not?

Broke my first ever GQ CV while on hols last week in vic, the bell was fine but the cage was a different story, took the inner axle with it. This in an unlocked truck. (Full lock, full noise, 35" Simex :roll: )

Hey boof head check your steering locks are adjusted properly may be getting to much lock. Especially as that diff had been in an acco & mounts ect were bent, steering stops could be bent to.

Yeah, have done that now :roll:

You should see the vid, had the FWH pointing straight ahead of the truck :oops:

Worked well on a mates 70 Series Landcruiser CV's. From memory they cost an extra $150 ontop of the price of a new genuine CV which the Engineer sourced himself.

Hualtech are doing stronger CV's. How much stronger I dont know havnt broken a std one for a while now though.
They can also supply another axle if needed also. They are brand new CV's with 2nd hand axles.
