and full hydro is allowed
y not box frame and only hydro assist?
least then u can get some road rigs that are competive?
This is a valid point although next year WE Rock are dropping the box frame rule and opening it up to full tube.
WE Rock are still going to require a steering box and they are still going to enforce a front bumper to be level with the front of the front tyres and no heigher than the top of the tyres and a front bumper minimum width of 20inches and they still have a minimum weight of 1000kg.
These things are there to try to keep the chassis based vehicles competitive and to keep the vehicles looking more like a proper 4wd.

No real difference than say a Short course event where you see 25 Nissan Patrols, 20 Hiluxs, 15 Suzukis and a few odd balls here and there!
very true, plus it also comes down to drivers skill that way, just like v8 super cars
I think there will eventually get a fair bit of variety happening. At the moment with just trying to get the numbers up quickly is so much easier just to copy whta has been built before. We did (well Tom (GQ) actually did) a revamp of the moon buggy chassis (like the one used by adrian (POS) and tom). Everything still looks the same - just a slight change in some of the dimensions. Took Tom a week to do the revamped chassis (slack fawk ) and another day to make an exact copy.

Sam
coz someone kept changing his mind!!!!! and that person went on an insane rage and smashed up the first revamp prototype after it all went wrong.....
Tom, 3 of them have Gen111 v8, 2 speed glide, Atlas 2, custom diffs and air shock combo and the other has RR driveline with coilovers as that one is intended for speed events also. There is also another chassis design being built b4 We Rock finals.
NOW ABLE TOO SAY WHAT I WANT WITHOUT FEAR OF LOOSING SALES.
The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it.
