What to pay for 82 patrol?

Post by LFT »

I was hoping some of you knowledgable people could tell me what is a reasonable price to pay for an 82 patrol, manual, petrol, air con in reasonable condition? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can have mine, without a/c, for $4800. But I wouldn't pay much over $3000 unless it has some special bonuses. Probably around $2500 for standards.

I paid $3000 for mine without seeing it about 1 month ago. But it was really worth around $2000. It's an 84 SWB MQ, 2.8lt 4sp.

I'm in NSW, it is a SWB and has about 10 months rego. I think it has 31in muddies aswell. I was just after a rough guide as to what I would have to pay for an MQ/MK (must have air con). This will only be the second 4x4 I have bought and have no real idea on what patrols are worth. Thanks to everyone who has replied, very helpful.

PATROL PRICES

Post by Patroldude »

Where abouts in NSW? Funny enough - some suburban areas have different price demographics! How much rust? POwer steer? Any lift in it?

I have bought a couple of patrols in my time.... :D

I think they are worth more than they sell for.

Yeah they are getting on, but why are they worth as much as an old falcon FFS.
