WT diffs / Lux Diffs/ Legalities and ratios HELP!!!

Post by tinyterror »

Now wait before you shoot me down in flames for asking very FAQ's, i have been doing a far bit of searching mostly in the bible, but i still haven't been able to piece together the answers im after.

My questions are .....(big breath in)

1. People use Lux diffs under the zooks all the time but can anyone confirm COMPLETELY the legality of them in sunny QLD. For example can u do it if their SPOA or is there a specific width you have to abide by? Has anyone had it fully approved before?

2. Are WT diffs under a NT legal in Qld if the tyres size is right and flares are installed?

3. How much wider are the WT to the NT and how beneficial is the gain?(For a zook with 2" spring 2" bl for eg)

4. Does/has anyone run a 1.3 zook on 5.12 r&p, 1.3lt/1lt x-case and 31s? And if so whats it like on the road, RPM at 100 etc.

5. And last, what would be the best diff ratio to change to for my zook (31's 3.9s and 1ltr x-case) for a bit lower gearing and the ability to still do 100ks.

(wwooo! ....and thats about it...............for now)

Sorry about annoying you with the same old questions but some of the threads get so confusing, so i thought this would be the best way.

Thanks in advance for all your help!

I'll let you know what i decide on and i'll do a thread (with pics) on my rig when i finish.

Cheers.
