coil conversion to leaf lux?

Post by Yumsylux »

Was wondering if this had ever been done? Is it possible to convert the rear coils on a 4runner/surf onto the diff of a leaf sprung hilux? Are the diff housings the same? I haven't heard of it before but wouldn't that give more travel? Or is it all too much work to do this kind of conversion?

Check out BeeBee's lux, I'm not sure of the details but I believe he has hydraulically adjustable spring mounts. This is one very capable truck.
