hi guys i have a 85 4runner an have a 2l diesel an want to put a 2lt in its place what do i need to get apart from motor or is that it.


im also going to do a body lift an want to know what is need for that.


any help would be great

A new exhaust. That is it, its 2l out, 2LT in. Mountings etc etc are all the same.

You may want to consider following as additional extras:

1. Intercooler, front mounted.
2. Rev counter if you don't already have.

thanks mate im also wondering how hard it is to change my dash as i got a 85 surf for parts an thats the motor im putting in my 4runner its got a diff dash cluster, so i just bolt it up an hook all my wires an fuel lines to it an thats it or do i need other stuff.
