Bogard are one of the better units, and are plug and play for many applications. Not real expensive for what they save.
09 Cruiser Tray ARB Bull Bar/side bars, dual batts, 3" Superiour lift, MTZs, other stuff. More to come!!!
90 Sierra Soft top, 3" body 2" spring lift, 31" Claws, 5.14 Calmini, more to do.

I'm not sure about sh*t ones, but there are certainly varying quality, but AFAIK this is mainly in regard to functions.

I run a Blitz timer (from Autobahn, around $200 for mine) on the middy which has automatic (running by time the engine has been running) option or manual option (which is adjustable from 10 sec to 10 min in 10 second increments) which also tells you the temperature, time, has adjustable brightness etc.

On the other hand, the 80 I just bought has a very basic 1, 3 or 5 minute timer and it does the same job as the Blitz, just not as fancy. Wiring is dead simple if you can get english wiring diagram.

One feature I look for is some kind of anti-theft feature. The blitz (and perhaps others) can be continually adusted during operation for potential endless duration, however if you release the handbrake without the ignition switched on the engine will die. For a lock and run application I like the peace of mind. Oh, and get used to parking in neutral and ensure handbrake is working WELL.
