head job on feroza

Post by BORN2RUN »

hey guys jus wondering if you could help me out. im thinking of swappin the head on my feroza for the hd detomaso head. would there be any problems wif such a conversion?? on paper they look the same but would there be much difference in real life terms? or would it be better to jus send the factory head to be ported, polished, possibly shaved a few thou and a custom billet or reground camshaft fitted for better low down torque (from idle to bout 4000rpm). wat is better bang for buck in mods for na setup.
already have pod filter and full exhaust.
any info would be great.

From all the info posted about Detomaso's it appears the only head difference is the cam. I also read somewhere Ferozas have a different thicker head gasket- but don't know if that is correct?

I seriously doubt those electric "superchargers" do anything at all.

Don't waste your money...get a real supercharger!
