tuff truck postponed!!!

Post by CRUSHU »

            Tuff Truck Challenge 2003 Postponed!

News just in from Tuff Truck HQ informs us that the 2003 Tuff Truck Challenge has been postponed. Due to ongoing insurance underwriting issues for events, it was deemed impossible to adequately satisfy insurers' demands and be fair to potential competitors whose vehicles' modifications would be governed by the requirements of this insurance.
The proposed September date was considered not viable, so the event will now take place on 15-17 May 2004. This will be the new scheduling for subsequent events in line with the first Tuff Truck in 2001. This decision has been regretfully taken and the organisers apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Gidday guys back from holidays from under down under (tassie).

Gee its good to be back at work :(

Anyway, I should note that the dates given for the re-scheduled event were a day out, sorry folks. Dates will be Friday 14th to Sunday 16th May 2004.

We will need to talk to other Insurer's as the current ones have a bag over their head ( I mean that in a nice way). Their requests are riduculous and the pricing well.......thats another story.

We know the website has not been updated but it may be due to our website designer having some problems so I do apologise for any confusion and inconvenience.

I'll Keep ya posted all.

Okay, so I'm a little slow and paid the spectator fee for myself and a couple of mates back in July I think. Should we expect a refund, or will they keep the payment for next year? Hope I aint got anything on that weekend in 2004!!
