h260 measurment

Post by scout392 »

What is the size of the center section the h260 or the h230, i know i could find the diff type on the vin plate.

Could it be that h260 being 260mm ring gear have a 280mm housing to accommodate

And

The h230 being 230mm ring gear have a 250mm housing.

H260 is the big diff right? My old ute had the big one and from top of pumpkin to very bottom was over 300mm

There bloody huge like mine. This is the compliance plate you have to read. The HH43 in the bottom right stands for the H 260 Diff and 4.375 ratios
