lifting a patrol

Post by 81 rangie »

I know this has probably been asked plenty of times, but what is the aprox cost of fitting 4 inch suspension lift, and then 2 inch body blocks to either a shorty or LWB. I havent got a patrol yet, as i am undesided between a LWB and a shorty when did the efi come out

Bout $180pr for coils
Panhards $260 each (need one each end, so 2)
Castor bushes...can't remember...already had em.
Shocks $100 - $195 depending on brand and specs.
One extended brake line (take the one off the front and put it one the rear (or visa versa), its already long enuff for 4" lift!)

PM 4WDstuff for prices, he seems to be keen to supply this gear.

yea got mine done, but SHEDGUY called him the other day, he wont touch 2+inch 4bs now... that was kevin williams.

He will do 25mm lift, or the same rules as Qld with the bumpstop measaurements.

Prices for 81 Rangie for 4 inch to 7 inch lift
All prices include free delivery when comparing prices.

Coils $170pr
Special build Dobinsons shocks up to 4 inch lift $100 each
Procomp shocks $125 each
Castor Correction plates/drop boxes $250
Adjustable panhard rods including Poly bushes $200 each
Extra long sway bar link pins $55 a pair
Adjustale upper trailing arms $145 each

A more cost effective way if you have a LWB is to do a 3 inch lift.

Coils $150pr
Dobinsons shocks $95e
Procomps $125 each
Castor Correction Bushes $100 for the kit

A shorty is going to need adjustable trailing arms as well. Trailing arms are $145 each for upper and $200 each for lower. You don't need both upper and lower.
