I got all excited and raced off down the news agant to get myself the new copy.
But it was not there yet??? Dissapointed but I would still buy it as long as it is centered on Jeeps.
The years have been good to me.
But the week ends have done all the damage.

Mmmm not sure to be honest, think I understand their thinking behind the move (2 fold, firstly I assume they're struggling to fill the pages with new stuff every month, and secondly they might think they need to broaden the appeal)...but to be honest I think they really need to stick to Jeeps and nothing else...by all means have a comp section, but keep it to coverage of Jeeps if possible.
Apparently people think I'm too patronising (that means I treat them like they’re stupid).

Ok, I need to split my vote between the last 2 options! Hate is such a strong word!

I understand that it must be tough for Micheal and Warren to put such a publication each and every month, but I dont think that this is the direction that the mag needs to take.
Ive been a reader since day 1 and dont even own a JeeP (at this stage)

As others have mentioned, the comp coverage is good, but Jeep related is the go even for this area of coverage. Being a Jeep only mag makes it what it is, unique!
What I carnt understand with the mag, why isnt there more full features of vehicles being done. Surely every lad and lass over at ausjeepoffroad would love to see their pride and joys published in glossy print!

Or is it some sort of Jeep thing that I just dont understand yet?

Cheers and Thanks for the time!

readers rigs may be a hard thing to do.......here we have another TJ with yet another 4.5 super flex lift....however its good for TJ's like shane's firetruck (love to see that in its current state) and wooders trail prepped TJ but i think it would get old too soon.

as far as the mags direction.....im all for it .

i like my TJ and i like Jeeps put im not one to complain should anyone not like them and publish their feelings about them and im not blind to the fact that there are many brands of 4wd equally good maybe better maybe worse. I cant see why i shouldn't be covered in the mag cause i like reading about these events and i like hearing stuff about other brands of 4wd. if you stay true to only one brand / idea / concept / then you become narrow minded and there are plenty of great ideas being dreamt up by others that may be adapted to suit my TJ and that’s why i think its important to have a comparison with other brands and display and cover other events with other brands in it.

at the end of the day if you don't like it.................don't read it, move on, turn the page and read another article then.
i don't need no stinking quote for my sig. line!

my cupla' coin for what its worth

not sure ... but i think the Comp Section really needs to be Jeep focused , afterall , i can read about the accomplishments of the yodas & pootrols in other biased mags :?

I commend the guys (Mic & Waz) in trying to get the 4x4 comp scene, in its different forms , out there to the general public

Just need more RockCrawlin' articles :D

If the added content means it takes me longer to read the mag then I'm all for it as long as it still keeps it's Jeep focus then it's all good.

needs naked chicks on jeeps.

Im happy reading the mag every month.. even if its not always appealing to me at that stage in time.

Im too afraid my peers will make fun of my jeep because of its colour if I send pictures in to JAA haha

yeh im not too sure either, mind you I really enjoy 4wd&suv mag (jp sister mag) and it has just enuv jeeps to keep me interested plus articles on other makes, the focus is more rockcrawlers so its cool.
I dont think it could harm jaa to look at other marques as long as it doesnt turn in to yet another jap/yota/pootrol mag.
on the other hand theres lots of people doiing really interesting things with jeeps in oz. Im sure we all could submit something interesting if we all put our minds to it, now where did i put my" how to knit a tj "article from this months womens day!

may as well start calling it JEEP action.. as well as every other make in that case.
I dont buy content specific material only to have it polluted with content that is of no interest to me.
If you want a broad coverage of vehicles.. get 4x4 monthly and write to them asking if they could ba little less bias and a tad more informative.

May be it should be published bi monthly instead of monthly?? i rather they do that and keep it all jeeps than publish it every month and be full of less quality 4x4s.

Too late you already have.

IMHO I love the comp side of the mag and wish them best of luck with the new format.
