I currently have a 2" lift and need new shocks.
Can i put in a 1" coil spacer and uses some longer shocks, to get a 3" overall lift?
If so who makes longer shocks?
I'm on a tight budget and have only recently put in the new springs, but since fitting 32" tyres would like a bit more lift and as i need new shocks i was wondering if this would work ok.

coil spacers and longer shocks
Moderator: Micka
There is a thread on what you are talking about..
IMO yes you can do this fine but poly spacers are mean't to even up a vehicle not an over all lift so unsure on legalities of this.
If you do this and you are after flex it would be beneficial to tie your coils in or get dislocating cones. For dislocating cones I would recommend the 620mm extended length Procomps and for tieing the coils in, I would recommend the 673mm extended length Procomp shocks. Another length available is the 700mm. They are eye top and pin bottom(I am talking about the rear).
To recap the extended lengths are:
620mm
673mm and
700mm
The normal 2 inch lift shocks are about 555mm extended.
Procomp shocks are $125 each including free delivery.
There are a couple of options for the front also if you think it is necessary.
If you do end up deciding upon a spring lift there are options for you. 3 inch lift coils are $150 a pair including free delivery.

I don't know about the shocks they come with but we use the same shock for standard as we do for a 2 inch lift, 555mm extended. At a wild guess the stocko shocks are probably about 20mm shorter.
