A red GQ was stolen from last night and found in roseville today..

Well its not too good..but not too bad...Managed to have a quick look before it got taken awayto an NRMA Shop for assesment

from what i can tell the following is missing..

The ARB Winch Bar
IPF 900XS Lights
Warn M10000 Winch (2 DAYS OLD)
TX3400 UHF and Aerial (2 DAYS OLD)
Pioneer Stereo
Winch Extension Strap, couple of Shackles, damper etc (they left my brother Tifor and the Snatch Strap)
Mobile Phone
a few Cd's and some other miscellaneuos stuff

Damage done..

Scratches down the passengers side
Windscreen broken
Driver Lock door Lock and Ignition Stuffed..

No doubt there are a few other little things in there that i may have overlooked, but from the quick look this is all i could see

Big bummer mate. I'd say whoever stole it has had their eyes on it, probably knowing that the winch and radio gear was only just new. Keep your eye's out on eBay. Do you have the serial number of the winch?? Might come in handy.

i dont think you will find them for sale , i reakon they would have pinched it for the parts for themselves it would be a limited market to try and sell something like that . i would suggest keep an eye out in the bush.

The irony is you are hearing this advice from a "krimnl".

I'd tend to think it's good advice.

Hence why you should engrave or mark you gear for later identification. Even take a picture for future evidence.

Agreed. Insurance companies love photos. Its one thing telling them you had this, that, and everything that flashes and beeps, but they dont have to worry about people spinning bullsh1t if they've got photo's to prove it.
