Isn't your garage too full of car parts to fit your 4x4 in anyway? mine is...I used to park my car in there....for about 3 weeks...now i'd be lucky if I could fit a pushbike in there, let alone a 4x4.

On a serious note..you said modding the garage is out of the question? Why? If it costs a couple of grand, it may well be money well spent...how long are you going to stay there? 5 years??..thats only 400 a year....really not that much money in the scheme of things for the convenience that it will offer you.. (or more to the point, for the inconvenience that it will take away).. You really should add up the cost versus the inconvenience. Aside from modding the garage, lowering your suspension, or changing your tyres, your options are really limited with regards to a permanent solution.

Of course, you could buy a Range Rover. :)

I only have to press a button on the dash to lower it (or lift it).
