105 series AXT turbo
Hi Guys. I have decided that the engine swap on my 1HZ is going to be to costly seeing that i would have to get my hands on a tranny and a transf. I am looking to import an AXT Turbo with the optional Oil cooler. Any advice or comments? What is the story whith"adding extra silicone oil to visco fan" to assist with cooling ? Thanks THEO CAPE TOWN
If you are fitting a turbo to a 1HZ then definately go with the intercooler, it makes a big differance & help with engine longevity. Don't worry about the oil cooler, won't be needed.
As for the extra oil in the fan, if you can source the correct oil it's just a matter of removing the fan, unbolting it, filling it with the new oil & refitting.
