Cleaning Steel Cable

I ran my cable out the full length, sprayed it generously in degreaser (it had a lot of "garage scum" on it), let it marinate for a bit, then used a high pressure washer.
After it dried, I also sprayed the cable in a fluro red (just over a 200mm section) at the 4 coil limit line (this is where you DONT unspool the cable anyfurther), then I sprayed it in fluro yellow about 4M further up. This is just to give me an indication of how much cable i've got left, incase we're winching at night or some other clown uses my winch. Just a safety precaution.
