I have tried 15" on my 98 GU 2.8Tdi and they scraped on the brakes.

ive had 15's on mine. 2000 td42 ute disk front and drum rear.

for basic rims, if they're kept in stock by a shop, i'm sure they will trial fit them for you to see if they fit before selling them to you.
2000 GU ST Patrol 4.2 turbo oiler not so bog stock anymore

They should, ive got same car and they fit on mine
15 x 8 wheels with 33" claws.
GU 2 3.0TD wagon
All the gear, No idea...
