NEED ADVICE ABOUT BUYING A SURF

i am considering trading up from my feroza to a surf (around 90-93model)but not sure if its a good idea as their an import. just wondering what should i be looking for if i decide to buy one. any advice on common faults etc, 2.4l or 3l, man or auto. all feed back would be appreciated wether it be positve or negative. also are they parts readily available and are they reasonably priced.

Yeah, follow Nev to that website.

I'd steer clear of the 2.4L. Other than that the only real issue to note is keeping them cool. And, if you're buying one that has been here a while it's hard to tell if it has been cooked a few times or not. The rebuilds are big $ like any diesel.
