hey im just wondering how i go about putting an LED in so that when i switch my thermos etc on the light comes on. to i just conect it in a paralel circuit with the wire coming out of the switch which has poer one the the weitch is in the on position (closeing the circuit) or do i need to o something else thanks

A 12V LED in parallel with the fans will work perfectly. In other words just hack into the +ve feed to the fans and use that to power the LED.

Make sure it's a 12V LED though. There are some cool ones with a little chrome bezel around them from Jaycar.

or buy ab illuminated switch as another option. Also at jaycar.
