3 on each drive shaft
4 on tie rod ends

= 10

If there's anymore then I didn't grease them when I serviced my truck :)

There in lies the problem, how does he know if he's counted enough?
Where as if he knows there are ten (provided that mabsydney is correct) then he knows when he has found them all. Or he might find ten different ones and still think he has found them all, or he could stick his hand in his pocket like the rest of us and purchase a manual, mind you we all know the Haynes and the Gregorys manuals have typo's in them so purchase both, cross reference them and get back to us with an answer bogged.
I think I've confused myself.....................

Dont know about sticking out further in the cold, but I've got 2 that have been snapped off inside the Uni's. How would I go about replacing them once I drop the drive shaft out. Cant' get at them with an easyout while they are on the car, when the sahft is off would the uni bend/move to expose them for removal. Any one snapped a nipple off before.

If I get a new uni are they hard to fit or not. Read the Gregory's but they make it sound tricky.

You should be able to purchase replacement nipples, get the angled ones, and the have about an 8mm nut right at the base of them so easy to unscrew and replace. As for replaceing uni's pretty easy and if your going to the trouble of pulling it apart to replace a nipple, put an new uni in for the extra couple of bob.
