GU panel above glovebox removal!
GU panel above glovebox removal!
does anyone know if or how the panel just above the glovebox on a GU comes off?

Yes - from memory you remove the glovebox, and there are some screws up behind that you can get to with a stubby phillips head.

In the first pic, you can see where the screws are. Six in total. The pics skip a step - when you remove the cover, there is actually a plastic facia that needs to be cut out. The pics show "after" cutting the backing/facia.

from about 3 days ago. and just incase you didnt know, you can only do this if you dont have a passenger airbag (obvious i know, but two black eyes wouldnt be nice)
