hi gh everyone....
im i did the head gasket in my 2H deisel last week.....
anyway iv got a new head and all the gaskets i need to bolt it back on....
what i need to know is does anyone out there know the settings for tensioning the head down.....and any other setting or info i need to know about putting the head back on.
all healp is greatly apprectiated.shit i cant spell

the spec in the max ellery book for a 2h says 83 ft-lb
doesn't sound alot
also u know to start in the middle and work your way out in a spiral form too pays too spray some hylomar on the head gasket for a good seal
you can get hylomar at repco
hylomar as in high low mar
inlet valve 0.20mm or 0.008 tho
exhuast 0.36mm or 0.014tho
also get a quicker responce for these things on the toyota section or search have fun

hey man thanks for that.
those figures do sound low...but come to think of it when i undid the head bolts they whernt ultra tight....small rachet and they where all lose.
