Best place in Melb to buy 100 series Tie rod set?

Post by LEXX »

Hey Toyota owners,

Not being a Toyota owner but wanting to put Toyota gear on my Jeep I'm wanting to know the best place to buy 100 series tie rod set in Melb. I need all 4 tie rods.

This is what I'm after.

I've been quoted $135 for the set, I have no idea if this is good or bad.

100 80 series there all the same i only use genuine Toyota on my 4B (not excessivly expensive) and i have a spare set from Kyatts that are 555 brand made in Japan they seem good on quality but there not a genuine thou. Be cautious of the auto parts store kits as they import a lot of crap from China India Pakistan etc and they are cheap and dodgy.

I had and just replaced after a fair bit of abuse a set of 555 ones on my 40 (runs 37's every day) and they seemed to have stood up fairly well

Landcruiser mart in brissy is the go. And they will ship anywhere in Aust. They quoted my $165 for a full set of rods for my 80. I have got a bit of gear from them in the past. Everything is good stuff and I have never had a problem with the product they provide. If you want I can pm you there number.
