Shock setup in the rear of lux

As far as im aware your exhaust has to dump behind the last opening door. I unbolted mine just under the cab removing the whole rear section. Ill get the new exhaust to dump just behind the cab without a muffler, on turbo diesels its not so loud (no louder than a wrx with a 3" exhaust).
I just set up my shocks identical to Diesel028's minus the lift blocks, seems to work just fine both on road and off.

hey spaz, i think he's refering to the shock set up not a 3link a-frame
badlux, an A-frame is a linkage frame used in coil converted trucks.
see pic below
Arrr, such a horrible pic of the first A frame I built!!!!
You could move the shocks towards the diff head and still have them vertical. They will allow more flex, however they will also promote body roll on the road!! Theres alway comprimises!!
Where the f#@k did that come from
From what vehicle would be the best 3 link be from to graft to the rear of a hilux?? Heard Range Rover but very open to suggestionsSTUMPY wrote:hey spaz, i think he's refering to the shock set up not a 3link a-frame
