truck weight

Post by rockcrawler31 »

hey all

I just had my troopy weighed at the local transfer station. the standard unladen weight as specified at toyota is 2.2t, and gross is 3.03t.

Mine came in at 2.8t with me out of it!!!!!!!

It has the Front bar and side bars, PTO winch with steel cable, rear bar, extra tyre, 150l long range tank and storage drawers. The only non permanant weight that was in it was my emptly 30 litre engel and slide, tool box (30 -40 kilos), parts and recovery gear about 50 - 60 kilos).

so in effect, when i get in it i have a capacity to carry 100 kilos of gear. Less if i carry a mate.

has anyone else weighed their truck and been surprised, and can anyone tell me what the standard front and rear axle weights are at stock tare form? dumbdunce perhaps??
